Open Wax Can With Broken Tab
Every once in a while the tab breaks off when you try to open a wax can. The video below will explain how to fix that issue
- Hard Wax - If the can is Hard wax you will follow this procedure. Pierce the seam with a flat head screw screwdriver wedging the screwdriver underneath the top. Pull the top off the Cannes using the flat head screwdriver. It should come off fairly easily.
- Strip Wax - If the can of wax is strip wax follow this procedure. Use the flat head screwdriver and pierce the top the same way you would with the hard wax. Try to pry the top up as much as you can. The strip wax will be pretty sticky so you won't be able to pull it completely off. Placed the wax in a warmer for about 10 minutes until the wax gets warm enough to pull the entire top off.
